DSH Web Bundle Repo Renamed: dsh-web-ui Becomes dsh-web
TL;DR
The upstream DSH Web Plugin & Skin Bundle repository zhu1090093659 has been renamed from dsh-web-ui to dsh-web. The bundled meta-package also renamed from @linxin666/dsh-web-ui-all to @linxin666/dsh-web-all. The site's own map entry has already been updated; existing profiles migrate automatically via dsh-doctor.
A short event entry: a single upstream repository changed both its GitHub name and the name of the meta-package it publishes. The change reached the site’s own map entry through the entry-update path described in the rename-checklist — no manual copy-paste needed here because every concrete detail (the Doctor-driven migration, the npm package name, the repo URL) is grounded to the upstream README.
What changed, in three names
Per the upstream README at zhu1090093659/dsh-web:
- The repository is now
github.com/zhu1090093659/dsh-web(was.../dsh-web-ui). GitHub redirects the old URL with HTTP 301. - The bundled meta-package is now
@linxin666/dsh-web-all(was@linxin666/dsh-web-ui-all). All install/remove commands in the upstream docs are already using the new name. - The skin assets path moved: skin assets are now under
packages/skins/skin-center, and the meta-loader is published as@linxin666/dsh-client-ui-skin-center.
Why existing profiles don’t need a manual uninstall first
The upstream README documents the migration path explicitly: enabling
dsh-doctor (it is on by default) and launching through dsh-doctor
causes the launcher to detect the legacy bundle during launch and run a
transactional migration — install the new meta-package, remove the old
one, preserve the original web-ui-* rows and bundle order, with a
--dump-config preflight before continuing. Bare dsh web bypasses
this preflight by design; the Doctor path is the documented route.
The site already indexes dsh-doctor as a separate entry, so the means by which this rename is administered are themselves discoverable from the map.
What was updated on the site
This is a downstream consequence, not a fresh action: the site’s own
dsh-web map entry (previously filed under dsh-web-ui) was updated
the same week through the entry-update path in the skill’s
upstream-rename checklist. The change touched entry.url, repo,
all 12 officialReferences, and the frontmatter slug/filename pair
(not a per-slug route, so no external link breaks; this was an
internal-consistency cleanup). The on-site wording update is already
live; this news entry is the reader-facing announcement.
